With a variety of experience across both private childcare and state education settings, Tara has gained a good understanding and knowledge base around working as a Teaching Assistant.

Tara's Work Experience

Tara left college in 2003 having gained her Diploma in Popular Music as well as 10 GCSEs, and started her career as a Function Band Manager and Singer. She continued performing until 2014. 

In 2005, Tara returned to education, starting her Foundation Degree course in Commercial Music. She passed this with Merit in 2007.

Using skills which Tara had acquired whilst completing her studies, she concluded 2 separate temporary contracts as an Office Administrator at Wessex Water; June 2007 - May 2008, and September 2009 - July 2011.

Tara was then recruited in Bath, and worked as a temporary Office Administrator for The Real Adventure and LMG companies, between August and November 2011.

In 1999, Tara started gaining experience within the childcare sector babysitting, and this progresed to Private Nannying in 2012.

In addition, between April and August 2012, she worked as a temporary Administrative Assistant. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tara also took the plunge into self-employment alongside her Private Nannying, setting herself up as an Events Organiser.

Tara continued to work as a Private Nanny and a Professional Babysitter, until May 2015 in Bath.

Between October 2014 and October 2015, alongside her other roles, Tara worked as a temporary Receptionist, Post Room Assistant and Administrative Assistant.

In November 2015 Tara started working as a Senior Activity Leader and Administration & Resources Assistant with FUNdays Club Ltd. She worked there for nearly 5 years, until January 2020.

Whilst working at FUNdays, Tara completed her Cache Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma and became a mother in March 2019.

In addition to this, Tara was also a Creche Supervisor at Woolley Grange Hotel from November 2019 to November 2020.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tara re-joined FUNdays Club Ltd as an Administration & Operations Assistant between October 2020 and August 2021.

From November 2021 to the present, Tara has been working part time as a temporary Teaching Assistant and has continued babysitting.

She has completed many further training courses, gaining additional sector relevant qualifications , for example Supporting Children with Autism and Supporting Positive Behaviour.

She is keen to advance her Continuing Professional Development, and is open to the idea of completing additional training courses to further her career.

Tara's availability is Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and would prefer 2 days per week (although 3 will be considered) - a job share may work well.
